Modern Slavery and Human Trafficking Policy

ENB Limited recognises that Modern Slavery and Human Trafficking are very real issues and affect the recruitment industry very seriously. We are committed to working with all organisations that take the issue as seriously as we do and who share our goal to reduce and eliminate this threat in the UK.

As we do not employ people on behalf of our clients, but only staff for our own internal team, we only check and verify identification documents for our own staff. We do at not any point request that a potential candidate for our own team relinquishes any of their original documents to us. We ask to see them, and may in some cases copy them, but never take them from their true owner. For candidates that we are introducing to potential employers we do not ask for any identification documents from them at any point as the employment relationship sits clearly between our clients and candidates directly unless supplied on a temporary or contract basis, whereby they will be employed by us on a short term basis – we will conduct all identification documents.

Whilst we arrange interviews for candidates and potential employers to meet, either online or offline, we ensure that candidates have chosen freely to attend and are not under any coercion from ENB Limited or any other person to attend. We deal with candidates directly, and do not work through any third party in any circumstances. Communication is handled directly between our team and the candidate only, and only through the telephone, mail and email addresses provided to us by the candidate.

We do not use additional avenues of recruitment, such as other recruitment agencies supplying labour into ENB Limited, whether based in the UK or overseas.

We are totally committed to Compliance and Ethical Standards and strive to operate best practices at all times. Everyone in the Company is introduced to our company compliance standards and operating procedures at the start of their employment. Our policies on Ethical Trading, Modern Slavery, Equality and Diversity and Equal Opportunities are provided to, and signed off as understood, but every new team member at ENB Limited.

ENB Limited is not a labour supplier, but an organisation that introduces candidates and clients together. ENB Limited are committed to working with potential candidates very closely, and know to recognise signs of potential slavery, coercion and trafficking and will react quickly, working with relevant authorities to deal with any instances we become aware of.
